February Open Day

9.45-1 Seasonal Blitz morning: our weekend volunteering opportunity, join us at 9.45 for a 10am-1pm session. We advise sturdy shoes and you are welcome to stay for the Hawkwood monthly Open Day afterwards.

All afternoon (12 – 3) Delicious seasonal lunch, cakes, coffee and teas available. Our farm stall has Hawkwood produce, jams, pickles, vinegars and herbal teas for sale. And try out our self-guided tour – download the free app to your phone, or borrow one of our tablets.

1.30 Fruit Pruning taster workshop – come and find out the basic principles of pruning for fruit bushes and trees, and have a go!

2.45 Site Tour 

12-3 PlayfulLea Forest School – a free drop-in session offering outdoor play and learning for children and families. Please email hello[at]playfullea.org.uk with the name and age of your children if you plan to attend. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
