A workers' cooperative growing food on London's edge in the Lea Valley

September Open Day: community wine, apple pressing and chillies

It’s the turn of the season at this month’s open day, celebrating the harvest abundance and the green we can still provide in the winter months to come. We’re accepting grapes into our Community Wine Scheme, and we’ll have the apple press in operation (bring your own apples to use it and take home the juice, or have a taste here). We’ll be selling plants for you to grow your own greens over winter. And there’s our usual offerings of seasonal blitz and great lunch, coffee and cake. Kids’ Kitchen is taking a break this month.
