What’s in the bags this week – 12 June

Standard vegetable bags have new potatoes, kohlrabi (Essex), stir fry greens (Kent), wet garlic, salad (Chingford), parsley (Cambs) and microgreens (Walthamstow). No potato bags have bunched carrots (Norfolk).

Large vegetable bags have new potatoes, red Batavia lettuce (Essex), stir fry greens (Kent), courgette, bunched carrots (Norfolk), mushrooms (Suffolk), mint, sea beet and wet garlic (Chingford). No potato bags have broad beans (Essex or Chingford).

Medium vegetable bags have new potatoes, kohlrabi (Essex), wet garlic (Chingford), spinach (Cambs) and mushrooms (Suffolk). No potato bags have mini cucumber (Cambs).

Small vegetable bags have new potatoes, spring onions, red Batavia lettuce (Essex) and broad beans (Chingford or Essex). No potato bags have bunched carrots (Norfolk).

Standard fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), lemons, apricots (Spain),  Braeburn apples (Italy) and rhubarb (Chingford).

Medium fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), apricots (Spain),  Braeburn apples (Italy) and rhubarb (Chingford).

Small fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), oranges (Spain) and rhubarb (Chingford).

We get our produce from Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Ripple Organics (Kent), Sarah Green Organics (Essex), Wild Country Organics (Cambridgeshire), Capel Mushrooms, Oakwood Farm (Suffolk) and organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). We aim to contribute at least two items from Hawkwood Nursery (Chingford) or our farmstarters Daniel (Chingford) or Stort Valley (Hertfordshire). Contents may vary due to availability.
