What’s in the bags this week – 6 June

Standard vegetable bags have Carolus potatoes (Devon), chard (Norfolk), onions (Cambs), little gem lettuces, wet garlic, broadbeans, spring onions (Essex). No potato bags have coriander (Norfolk).

Large vegetable bags have Carolus potatoes, beetroot (Devon), onions (Cambs), broadbeans, Red Batavia lettuce,  mustard cress punnet, spring onions, wet garlic (Essex), white cabbage (Lincs). No potato bags have radish (NL).

Medium vegetable bags have Carolus potatoes (Devon), wet garlic (Chingford), lettuce, broadbeans, mustard cress punnet (Essex), radish (NL). No potato bags have white mushrooms (Suffolk).

Small vegetable bags have Carolus potatoes (Devon), mixed salad leaves (Norfolk/Chingford), wet garlic, broad beans (Essex). No potato bags have red cabbage (Lincs).

Standard fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), oranges, peaches (Spain), kiwi (Italy), rhubarb (Cambs).

Medium fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), kiwi, oranges (Spain), rhubarb (Cambs).

Small fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), oranges (Spain), kiwi (Italy).

 

Where does our produce come from? We get our produce from Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Sarah Green (Essex), Brockmans Farm (Kent) and from organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). We aim to contribute 20% of the produce in our bags from either Hawkwood Plant Nursery (Chingford), or our farm starters; London Grown (Haringey), Shannon (Ilford), Primrose Organic farm (Herts). Contents may vary due to availability.
