What’s in the bags this week – 12 April

Standard vegetable bags have Sante potatoes, parsnips, carrots (Lincs), onions (Cambs), leeks, parsley (Essex), mixed salad leaves, chard (Chingford). No potato bags have coriander (Norfolk) instead of parsley and white mushrooms (Suffolk).

Large vegetable bags have Sante potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, purple sprouting broccoli (Lincs), onions (Cambs), leeks (Essex), mixed salad leaves, chard (Chingford). No potato bags have white mushrooms (Suffolk).

Medium vegetable bags have have Sante potatoes, carrots, parsnips (Lincs), leeks (Essex), salad onions (Norfolk), watercress (Chingford). No potato bags have parsnips (Lincs).

Small vegetable bags have Sante potatoes, (Lincs), onions (Cambs), park choi, swede, leeks (Essex). No potato bags have cauliflower (Lincs).

Standard fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), Red Pippin apples (Kent), oranges (Italy), rhubarb (Chingford), mandarins (Spain).

Medium fruit bags have Red Pippin apples (Kent), bananas (Dominican Republic), rhubarb (Chingford), mandarins (Spain).

Small fruit bags have Red Pippin apples (Kent), bananas (Dominican Republic), rhubarb (Chingford).

 

Where does our produce come from? We get our produce from Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Breckland Organics (Norfolk B), Woodlands Organics (Lincolnshire), Eves Hill Veg Co (Norfolk), Riverdale Farm (Cambridgeshire) and other small farmers in East Anglia, Sarah Green (Essex), Hawkwood Plant Nursery (Chingford) local ‘Cropshare’ growers, and The Apricot Centre (Essex). Produce also comes from organic farmer and local wholesaler Brockmans Farm (Kent) and from organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). Contents may vary due to availability.
