OrganicLea grower Ru acquired seeds of this 4-5 cm long pepper in one of a number of shops that only sold dried chillies in the town of Puebla. The chilli was bred in the highlands around this town. It is one of the chillies used in the town’s famous Mole Poblano sauce.
