It’s Co-operatives Fortnight, our annual opportunity to do a shout-out for the benefit of co-operative ways of working. There are nearly 7,000 co-operatives in the UK contributing £36 billion a year to the economy.
OrganicLea operates with a 18 strong workers’ co-operative at our core, which means we all take responsibility for managing the organisation ourselves, without the need for outside shareholders or bosses.
As part of Co-op Fortnight we’re joining together with The Drive Housing Co-operative for an evening of food and drink, discussion, and celebration of the work of co-operatives and why (we believe) they are the future.
