Improving soil health on horticulture operations

Friday 22 February, 9am-5pm, Hawkwood Nursery Learn to apply the soil health principles to transform your soil into a crumbly, friable state that’s easy to work and produces healthy crops. From large farms to market gardens, the soil health principles bring real results: better soil structure, healthier crops and more consistent yields. This one day course is led by Niels Corfield. Niels is a researcher, grower and nurseryman with over 10 years experience in creating sustainable landscapes and productive low maintenance agroecological systems. The course will be held at OrganicLea’s Hawkwood Nursery site in Chingford. More details about the course content here. Fees: £35 (Apprentice/Trainee Grower); £55 (earning <£16k); £85 (earning  £16-22k); £125 (organisation/earning £22k+).
