What’s in the bags this week – 11 April

Standard vegetable bags have Alouette red potatoes (Devon), green curly kale, purple sprouting broccoli, swede (Essex), carrots, spring onions, leeks (Norfolk), white mushrooms (Suffolk).  No potato bags have bulbed onions instead of spring onions and mixed salad (Norfolk).

Large vegetable bags have Alouette red potatoes (Devon), green curly kale (Essex), onions, carrots, beetroot, leeks, coriander, mixed salad (Norfolk), purple sprouting broccoli, swede (Kent) No potato bags have Spring garlic (Chingford).

Medium vegetable have Alouette red potatoes, parsnips (Devon), carrots (Norfolk) spring garlic (Chingford), pak choi, spring greens (Essex). No potato bags have purple sprouting broccoli (Kent).

Small vegetable bags have Alouette red potatoes, parsnips (Devon), onion, mixed salad, leeks (Norfolk). No potato bags have purple sprouting brocolli (Essex).

Standard fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), clementines, kiwi (Italy), blood oranges (Spain), Rhubarb (Chingford).

Medium fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), blood oranges (Spain), kiwi (Italy), Rhubarb (Chingford).

Small fruit bags have Grapefruit, blood oranges (Spain), bananas (Dominican Republic).

 

Where does our produce come from? We get our produce from Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Sarah Green (Essex), Brockmans Farm (Kent) and from organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). We aim to contribute 20% of the produce in our bags from either Hawkwood Plant Nursery (Chingford), or our farm starters; London Grown (Haringey), Shannon (Ilford), Primrose Organic farm (Herts). Contents may vary due to availability.
