In the bags this week:
Produce from: Hughes Organics (Norfolk), Breckland Organics (Norfolk B), Woodlands Organics (Lincolnshire), Riverdale Farm (Cambridgeshire) and other small farmers in East Anglia, Sarah Green (Essex), our Hawkwood Plant Nursery growing site (Chingford) and local ‘Cropshare’ growers. Produce occasionally comes from organic farmer and local wholesaler Perry Court Farm (Kent) and from organic wholesaler Langridge (especially non-UK fruit). Contents may vary due to availability.
Standard vegetable bags have Valor potatoes (Lincs), onions (Netherlands), Purple carrots (Lancs), White Sprouting broccoli, beetroot (Lincs), leeks (Norfolk B), Rainbow chard (Norfolk), Mixed salad (Chingford). No potato bags have additional Parsnips (Essex).
Large vegetable bags have same as Standard bags (larger portions), with Spring greens (Lincs) instead of Chard and additional parsley (Norfolk). No potato bags have mushrooms (Suffolk).
Medium vegetable bags have Valor potatoes (Lincs), onions (Netherlands), Purple Sprouting broccoli (Lincs/Essex), leeks (Norfolk B), parsnips (Essex), mixed salad (Chingford). No potato bags have Rainbow chard (Norfolk).
Small vegetable bags have Valor potatoes (Lincs), Green curly kale (Essex), onions (Netherlands), Purple Sprouting broccoli (Lincs/Essex), Green garlic (Chingford). No potato bags have rocket (Chingford).
Standard fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), oranges (Spain), mandarins (Italy), Cox apples (Kent) and rhubarb (Chingford).
Medium fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), oranges (Spain), Cox apples (Kent) and rhubarb (Chingford).
Small fruit bags have bananas (Dominican Republic), mandarins, (Italy) and Cox apples (Kent).
