Saturday 5 September, 10am-2pm
Connect with nature and connect with yourself on this one day workshop led by Organiclea vineyard trainee Ashley and yoga teacher Ali. The workshop is a fundraiser to help buy a new press for the increasing harvest of grapes.
Starting with a wander around the site exploring its workings and wildlife, there will be elemental flow yoga practice to move and breathe you into connection with the inner energies of earth, fire, water, air and ether. Then bathe in the magical sounds of gong and nature for an hour. Gong resonates through our minds and bodies; washing away tensions; bringing the peace and wisdom of a deep meditation.
After fresh air, movement and deep relaxation we’ll chat and share over a hearty, simple organic lunch in the glasshouse.
Gong and yoga suitable for adults of all levels and abilities. Accompanied children and partners are more than welcome to join the walk then take time to explore the site and next door forest and nature reserve and join again for lunch.
Ali studied Akhanda yoga and yoga therapy in India – and with Don Conreaux and tone of life in the gong master teachings. She is based at the Well Garden yoga and sound studio in Hackney.
