What’s happening this month?
- At 11am, join the growers for a wild food walk and forage around the Hawkwood site. Organiclea growers will point out some of the common and less common wild plants that can be eaten and serve other useful purposes. Bring an old margarine tub for blackberries and adventurous palate for wild food inspired lunch snack to accompany your packed lunch!
- Join-in seasonal gardening activities or ground preparation work at any time throughout the day
- At 2pm, meet by the picnic benches and join Holly and Ella in decorating the water tanks – with a Make Your Mark workshop. Painting materials will be provided and everyone is welcome to contribute to a colourful brainstorm of Hawkwood inspired art.
- Tour this 12 acre site with our self-guided tour and sign posts – learn about this year’s growing plans.
Open from 11-4 – drop in or come for the day (bring a packed lunch if staying for the day – we eat between 1-2pm).
