Sunday 25th April – Come and join the monthly open day at the Hawkwood Plant Nursery, 11am-4pm, all welcome to drop in or stay all day and help with seasonal taks in the vegetable garden! With an introductory skill-sharing slot at 11-11.30am; ‘Planting into the ground and aftercare and introducing natural pest management.’
There will be vegetable plants for sale throughout the day. Plants have been hand-raised at the Hawkwood Plant Nursery by workers from the coop and many local volunteers. Find out about other plant sales at Hawkwood and at the Hornbeam Centre in Walthamstow.
Bring a packed lunch if staying for the day and wear sturdy shoes – all welcome!
